A tattoo walk in I’ve been times can see a bit nerve-racking not knowing what to expect when you enter a tattoo studio or the energy. The artist will present back to you after going through some ideas about what you want to get.
I know the feeling I have been in both positions, but also as a artist is wanting to work at a new shop you have to have to confront the energy your projecting with the energy the other at the studio are projecting back to you . The situation could be a little tidy ,
So my approach has always been the same with everyone let them come in and express themselves get to express who they are and what they’re looking for in an artist , after all it’s also me who should be feeling nervous with someone coming in and sharing ideas and not knowing what to expect of those ideas, sometimes a walk-in client can have simple and basic straightforward ideas and sometimes they can be a little bit more difficult trying to interpret their idea ideas into a design , I have learned to read people’s imagination or break down their ideas into things that can visibly see or understand better we go over many different types forms of design designs before coming to a conclusion of what it is exactly that we are working with , after all a walk and always comes in with a surprise tattoo for the artist , my job is to make them feel comfortable and at home while they wait for me to their design in my own unique way, but also working with their feed back here is one work of art that I enjoy doing recently
